Homework Center

For students needing assistance with homework, East Middle School offers an after-school Homework Center Monday through Thursday from 3:40-4:40 p.m. Certified teachers are available during this time to assist students.

Boys and Girls Club of Joplin

The Boys and Girls Club provides an after-school program for children age 5-18 years old. Trained staff members help children develop their academic and social skills in a fun and diverse environment. Activities are designed for various age groups and skill levels to enhance growth and to encourage learning. The program is available to all area residents, and after-school transportation to the Boys and Girls Club is provided from several Joplin schools. A small fee is required for the program.
